Hôtel Akena Reims Bezannes

We’ve stayed here twice, once as a stop on the way to skiing in the Alps and another time while travelling to the south of France in summer. It’s well run, very clean, comfortable, and has great rooms, staff, and secure parking. The bar serves good wines and guest beer. The bar area is being extended in 2026, so we’ll aim to return. Breakfast is good too. Reims Centre is less than 10mins away, ideally by taxi. Fully recommend it for an overnight stop or a couple of nights. Good quality and attractive pricing.

There were thoughtful extras, like free sweets and water bottles to take up to the room, and breakfast was tasty. We had a pleasant walk by the cute stream next to the hotel before checking out. A little hotel we really liked, with friendly staff and comfortable, modern rooms. We’d return.

For the price, I’d stay again. It was a good one-night stop from the UK towards Germany, with clean modern rooms, friendly staff, a good breakfast, a nice connecting room, a safe neighbourhood, ample parking, and a bar downstairs. We had an issue with the air con in one room, so it was a warm night, and the ‘non-Tesla’ EV charger didn’t work, which caused some confusion and issues in the morning.

Clean hotel with friendly staff, plus a fantastic express breakfast if you’re on the move. It’s a short walk to the tram for a trip into the town centre.
