The Despeyroux family have owned the place throughout my visits, and now the son runs it. I’ve been stopping here for more than 15 years, in both winter and summer, when we break our trip on the way to or back from the Alps. Our children have grown up looking forward to coming back. The village is fascinating and historic, and well worth a visit. The river begins at the top of the village.

We had the clean, nicely arranged family room for one night on our way back from Italy. The owners were friendly and the food was delicious. Eating in the village square felt a bit unusual, but it was a lovely sunny evening. The town is beautiful, and a walk through it is highly recommended.

A good room, tasty food, and friendly staff. We really enjoyed staying here. At 7:00 p.m., when the restaurant opened, the terrace was full of Dutch people ;) Can’t blame them!

Le Relais is well worth a stay if you’re nearby. My wife and I stayed overnight and were pleased with the food, which was great and reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and modern, with a flat screen TV, wireless phone charger, and a comfortable bed. There was no A/C, as is common in the European hotels I’ve stayed in, but that wasn’t an issue in late May. Beze is quiet, with no traffic noise to worry about. We slept peacefully with the window open. I’d recommend it if you want a relaxed small village.

A good hotel for a night while traveling to the South of France. The rooms are nice and the price to quality ratio is excellent. Breakfast was good, and the owner kindly moved her car when we arrived because no parking spots were left.
