The location was good, and the communal spaces had pleasing, quirky bric-a-brac. The proprietor was very friendly, though hard to find most of the time. Our room had a pleasant adjoining terrace, but people in neighboring rooms could see it from their windows, and some smoked out of those windows. Getting up to the room meant climbing three flights of very steep, uneven stairs. It was pokey, with the bed facing straight into the glass-walled shower. The floors creaked badly, the toilet’s sliding door juddered instead of sliding, and the shower-head bracket had broken where it had been poorly repaired before. The walls were paper thin. A woman in the next room shouted at her spouse or child for much of the evening, night and morning, so we barely got any rest. We stayed three nights and couldn’t find the proprietor to report it until the evening of the third. After that, the neighbors were quieter, so perhaps the complaint was acted on. I expected a lot more from the online pictures. These problems were the low point of an otherwise lovely break in Beziers. I wouldn’t recommend this place, look elsewhere.

The owner was generous and really helpful, and breakfast was amazing. Our room was clean and large, with a little balcony. The hotel is only a short walk from the train station through a lovely park, and that’s also where the Ryan Air shuttle stops. There are lots of restaurants nearby. I especially recommend the Cedre du Liban.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel is right in the centre, all at very affordable prices. It’s a lovely small place, with clean, colorful, well-decorated rooms and comfortable beds. The train station is an eight-minute walk away.

For a one-star hotel, this place was beautifully decorated and very clean. It was perfect for a night in the middle of the romantic city. The host was chatty, helpful and super friendly. We definitely recommend it.
