10/10
The room felt a little small for us, but when we mentioned it, the front desk was very accommodating and showed how much they care about service. We had a great stay at Alfred Hotels, with a charming atmosphere and a lovely breakfast in the sunroom. The location was another highlight, with a delicious chocolate shop, cookies, and restaurants just steps away. Highly recommend.

The glass-walled breakfast room is such a cozy, pretty place to relax, even once breakfast is over. We had a beautiful sea view from our room, and the location was perfect. The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff were so friendly that we felt welcome right away.

I lost €250 over a genuine booking mistake, despite contacting the hotel straight away to ask for a date change or refund. They refused, so I paid without ever setting foot inside. The way the staff dealt with it made the experience even worse. They were rude and dismissive, and I felt ignored instead of treated as a guest. That was the opposite of the helpfulness mentioned in some other reviews. I know mistakes happen, but there was no flexibility or goodwill in my case, and no solution offered. The glowing reviews don't match what happened to me at all. I left feeling like I'd been robbed of €250. Think carefully before booking. I wish I had.

We had a lovely three-day stay, and the room had the amenities we needed. The staff were always friendly and incredibly helpful. Laura was especially kind, warm, and professional, helping us with recommendations and travel questions. Top marks for everyone we met!
