ibis Styles Biarritz Plage (Ouverture mai 2024)

Visited in May 2026. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the location and rooms were adequate. Breakfast was acceptable, though there were no vegetable options. I got food poisoning after dinner at the restaurant and was sick all weekend. The restaurant waitresses were professional and kind.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel worked well for our overnight stop with the dog. We could walk into Biarritz in about 20 minutes, and there’s a little park plus beach access for dogs in winter. The location is handy, with free on-site parking, a small bar and restaurant, and access to the beach.

We had a spacious, clean room with everything we needed, plus a private terrace looking out to sea. Marbella beach was only a short walk away, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The price isn’t low, but felt fair for what we got. Breakfast had a good range. The restaurant was closed on Sunday, so we went into town for dinner; later, the night manager couldn’t make cocktails, so I settled for a Heineken. We’d happily come back.

The location near Milady beach worked well, with a supermarket about 10 minutes away and buses on both sides of the hotel. It’s a 15-20 minute walk into town. Biarritz itself has plenty of bars, restaurants and beaches, and is a nice surfing town. We stayed a few days with my parents. The room was clean and roomy, with a large double bed, a sofa bed and two balconies. Most staff were friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant. Breakfast had a decent selection, though the hot food was sometimes only lukewarm. Dinner wasn’t available on Sunday; the food choices were a little limited but fairly good. A nice, clean hotel that I’d recommend.
