The beds were really comfortable, and the hot water was great. It’s about an eight-minute walk to the main centre and beaches. The hotel has the feel of a traditional place, but the rooms are modern, clean and nicely kept. Lovely common areas with plants and furniture, and a young, friendly team.

Quiet, well located, and the rooms were clean and reasonably priced. Just note that check-in isn’t until 4pm. I’d rate the rooms four stars because there’s no mini fridge.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was very nice. Our room was quiet, clean, comfortable and big enough, with the main beach just a short walk away.

That little balcony in our room was lovely, and the old building sits in a really pleasant neighborhood for walking around. It’s a nice hotel in Biarritz, with a varied breakfast that felt worth the 19 euros. One thing management could improve: the towels were too thin for a bathroom with such nice amenities.

The location is about a 15-minute walk from town and the beaches, and Biarritz turned out to be hillier than I’d expected. Luckily there’s a good, affordable bus service around town. This is a very good three-star hotel, with helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was continental, with plenty of fresh options, and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We looked onto the internal courtyard, which was fine.
