Un Jardin à Biarritz

The garden alone made this a lovely place to unwind, with flowers and trees all around and room to keep enjoying the day after curfew. Alexandra welcomed my friend and me into her spacious, rustic family chalet. She’s attentive and great company, and was happy to point us toward local specialties. Thanks, Alexandra!

We spent two days in this lovely home, tucked into a magnificent garden. The owner greeted us warmly and was both friendly and professional. Inside, the old house is full of period furniture and objects. Thank you, and well done.

Alexandra made us feel very welcome, and the breakfasts or BBQs are excellent, depending on what you prefer. The wooden house has kept its old-world feel while still offering modern amenities. It sits in a green setting between the ocean and Lake Mouriscot.

We were on a trip and already quite tired. After finding this place online, I called at 1:32 a.m. The woman who answered was unpleasant because I was calling so late. Plenty of places offer 24-hour service.
