The food was great, and the views are amazing. Compared with other five-star places in the region, the platters and service fall just a little short of perfect. Still, it was a very good experience, worth about 4.5 stars.
The balcony music was so loud that it was hard to enjoy the gorgeous view. We also got no presentation of the dishes, even at the French-speaking tables, and the little snack they served at the start was almost inedible. The food was okay at best and nowhere near worth the bill: over €100 for two starters, two mains, water, a cider and an alcohol-free beer. We were shocked when we learned the water we'd been asked about cost €6.50. We felt quite cheated.
We went on a Monday night and had a delicious dinner. There was lots of room between tables in the large dining room, and our server was friendly and very efficient. She explained every dish in both English and French. The menu gives local classics a creative twist, which we found interesting and tasty, and the portions were a good size. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
Good staff and a great location. A really nice place to eat.
We enjoyed the delicious food and great service, with a beautiful view too.
