The peaceful setting really made our five days of exploring the region special. The house is a carefully renovated former sawmill, and it’s run beautifully. We slept well in the spacious rooms, with their comfortable, generously sized beds imported from the Netherlands. Breakfast was superb, and dinner brought plenty of delicious variety. We’d happily recommend staying here.

The hosts made us feel at home straight away, always cheerful, friendly, and ready to help. We spent a week here in July on a motorcycle trip, and it was a great base for rides through the Northern Vosges Mountains and as far as the Black Forest. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Meals were fresh, tasty, and varied, with some ingredients from the owners’ own garden. Highly recommended in every way. It really does feel like a holiday with friends at Janni and Jan's place. The house and lovely garden are in a wonderfully quiet spot, and our room was gorgeous and comfortable. There are currently five lovely double rooms, making it a great fit for a motorcycle trip with friends. We showed up around 7:30 pm during our tour, without booking ahead, and were welcomed so warmly. Janni even made us a delicious four-course dinner. We’ll definitely be back. The only tiny gripe, if I have to come up with one, is that there’s no cell phone reception. There is Wi-Fi in the living room, though, and honestly this is just nitpicking. The owners are so welcoming, the house is breathtaking, and our room was gorgeous, with really high-quality bedding. Dinner was more than enough, definitely a lot for light eaters, and breakfast looked so good I’ll leave that to the photos. I can already tell my future weekends in the Vosges will end here 😍😂😁💖.

A bright, clean place to stay, with hosts who are very accommodating. Breakfast is unbeatable, and dinner is well worth having. It’s wonderfully peaceful here, just right for relaxing. Motorcyclists, hikers, and cyclists looking to explore the Vosges Mountains or the Route des Crêtes will find it highly recommended. Thanks again, Jan and Janny, for those lovely Easter days. Andreas
