Hôtel Du Delta

For a fair price, you get a quiet, clean stay, and the staff are friendly. We arrived after opening hours and picked up our keys from a self-service machine. The room was clean and a reasonable size, with a large clean bathroom and hairdryer. Breakfast was served in a bright room. A great place to stay.

The price is reasonable for a two-star hotel, and breakfast has some variety, though nothing fancy. The rooms really need renovating. The bathroom and toilet were so-so, but at least the room and bedding were clean. It’s close to a large factory and shopping center. This is basically a place to sleep, and the location and surroundings don’t offer much inspiration.

The toilet’s water tap had been shut off when we arrived. Once we turned it back on, we found a pipe leak, and because nobody had warned us, a large puddle had formed by the time we got back. The room was small but comfortable, and breakfast was adequate, nothing special. For a two-star hotel, the price was as much as we’d pay for a three-star hotel in the heart of Toulouse. It’s not worth it.

The staff were friendly, but the price is too high for this place. There was an unbearable smell in the rooms, and I don’t think it came from the factory. The carpet probably needs to go, and the vinegar-based cleaning products should be banned. We couldn’t sleep with the window closed. The hall had a strong chlorine smell and was never aired out. The equipment is worn out too: the bathtub tap, and a roller-shutter strap patched with tape. Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room.
