Le Jas De Peguier

The pool and jacuzzi are beautiful, and there was plenty to do for a long weekend close to nature, including pétanque, table tennis, foosball, a projector, and a sound system with a disco ball. We celebrated my 50th birthday at Jas de péguier with more than 30 friends. The place is huge, beautiful, and very quiet, with lots of bedrooms so everyone could stay with some privacy. The shared spaces worked well in both sunny and rainy weather. Many thanks to Hélène for her welcome, energy, and frank communication about what we could and couldn't do.

The gîte was clean, and the owner gave us a very warm welcome. There are plenty of walks between Digne and Sisteron, and I'd recommend visiting the old village just above, with its ancient church. A lovely little place for a great holiday. I recommend it.

We had two lovely New Year's celebrations here with friends. The owners gave us a very warm welcome, and the house was superb. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, while the huge shared room felt warm and inviting with its big stove. The beautiful veranda was a pleasant place to sit in the sunny hours, even in late December.

The grounds are peaceful and beautifully maintained, right in the heart of Haute Provence. They worked especially well for our reception with children aged 7-13, who could play and move around freely and safely. We rented the entire Jas de Péguier from Friday through Monday morning to celebrate our wedding. With around 25 beds, our loved ones could enjoy the venue all weekend. The bedrooms and self-catering cottage were comfortable and well equipped, with space for everyone. There are a few rules about things like furniture, music, and the pool, but once we planned around them, everything went smoothly. Many thanks to Hélène and her husband for their warm welcome and help. We'd rent the Jas again for future family events.
