There was nobody at the hotel to help when things went wrong. Check-in is done at a machine, and your room code is sent by email, which is fine if the machine screen works and there’s internet. Neither did when I was there. With no staff around, there was no way to report the problem. The whole setup is a joke.

This was an awful place to stay, especially with family, and not worth a cent. There’s no kettle or microwave, not even in the shared area. Trying to check in meant struggling with a damaged screen and getting no help. It took far too much effort.

The room was cleaned every day, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was clean and practical. Staff were friendly, and breakfast had a decent mix of hot and cold food. Reception, though, closes in the evenings and over lunch. Buses to and from Antibes stop right outside, but service ends early, so I needed an Uber from the Antibes train station the night I arrived. It cost about 18€. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, though ordering food in, such as Uber Eats, is possible. I was told by phone I could pay with Cheques Vacances Connect e-vouchers, but that turned out not to be possible. I had to pay for the whole reservation by card at the hotel, which was a big disappointment and an unexpected expense.

We were here for the tennis camp next door. The rooms are small, as you’d expect for the price, but they’re clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful throughout. A great value hotel.
