The village is small and quiet, and Colmar is only a 10 Min drive away. There’s private parking and free WiFi. The rooms are high quality, the breakfast superb, and the staff great. Everything is styled perfectly.

A very comfortable hotel in a quiet area.

The breakfast felt too simple and wasn’t what I expected. The bed was lopsided and uncomfortable. The shower leaked, so I had to get out of bed several times to fix it.

I’ve visited more than 60 countries, and I’ve never been treated in such a hostile, unsafe, and unprofessional way. I found the owner aggressively hostile toward international guests, particularly Americans, and the atmosphere felt volatile. In the screenshot from our video, the owner appears to physically escalate things by moving toward my wife and putting his hands on her and her phone to stop her recording. Our family’s stay was a nightmare. After a five-hour drive, he immediately spoke aggressively and insulted my father, who is over 80, about parking. I politely said we’d had a long journey and just wanted to get to our rooms. He yelled, “I DON'T CARE HOW LONG YOU HAVE TRAVELED.” He also moved toward me and put his hands on me, repeatedly shouting, “DOWN AMERICAN, DOWN AMERICAN,” like he was barking orders at an animal. Because of the physical intimidation, my wife and I had to leave right away and find emergency accommodation elsewhere. The next morning, after I’d gone, he targeted my mother as my elderly parents were checking out, shouting at her to “go back to her country.” He acts like a tyrant and treats paying guests with contempt and physical intimidation. Looking at his responses to other guests, I see a clear, documented pattern of him degrading people who speak up. If physical safety, basic human dignity, and real hospitality matter to you, DO NOT STAY HERE. We moved to "The Brit Hotel" down the road, which was wonderful. Avoid this B&B at all costs.
