After a 14-hour trip with delays, two planes, a train, the underground and a taxi, we arrived very late and were greeted with a friendly hello. The beds were comfortable and we had what we needed, though I’m personally not keen on glass plates and cups for microwave use or hot drinks. There was a nice outdoor area with a trampoline, badminton and other games, plus a swimming pool with lots of seats and sunbeds and a small bar. The bathroom had all we needed, but the towels were a bit hard. Breakfast was delivered to our door with fresh bread, croissants and jam. We were pleased with our stay. Kind regards to both! 😀

We’d definitely like to come back. The gîte is beautiful, in a gorgeous area, and Stéphan gave us a warm welcome. Our room was spacious and well cared for, with a large bathroom. We also had a delicious local dinner on the day we arrived. It was fantastic.

The location is nice, and it’s a beautiful property with pleasant bedrooms. We rented the cottage for two nights, though the photos didn’t match the reality, especially the living area. The website shows a cozy room, but it’s actually in a sloping garage with picnic tables. The pool wasn’t very clean, and several dangerous screws stuck out of the terrace floor. The owner was too intrusive, even going into a bedroom to turn off the air conditioning after we’d followed the instructions.

We booked Villa du Menhir just an hour before arriving, and Stephan was very accommodating. The setting is enchanting, and the pool and breakfast were a real bonus. Everything was perfect. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in the area.

A magical, really peaceful place, and I recommend it. The pool is great, and having breakfast beside it was lovely. Just a couple of small things: the shower door could be more tinted, since the other guests can see your silhouette, and the toilets are open at the top, so they don’t feel very private. The owner is great, very friendly and helpful.
