We told the host we'd be sharing the double bed with our baby, and he made us cancel the booking because, according to him, it had to be for three people. Why? We didn't need an extra baby bed. We've been travelling with our family for about a month and stayed at different hotels, but have never run into this kind of problem. It's completely unacceptable. Now we have to find somewhere at the last minute, which is really annoying.

The host was very accommodating, and we could use the garden. The modern rooms have air conditioning, and the place is right beside the canal.

The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the garden was an incredibly relaxing little haven. We had an excellent welcome, and the hosts were very pleasant and helpful. We highly recommend it for a cycling weekend with friends.

Fabienne and Sylvain were both there to see us off when we got back on our bikes, and we felt their warmth throughout our stay. After a day's cycling along the Nantes-Brest Canal, they welcomed us even though we'd arrived outside the usual hours. The Barel room was such a cozy nest, with soft colors, and we could relax in the garden, in a deckchair or hammock. Breakfast was delicious, and Fabienne kindly stayed to chat with us. Thank you both for such a lovely, warm welcome.
