The meal at Evydence was a real highlight: very good food, excellent service, and quality ingredients sourced locally. Breakfast was good too, especially the exceptional bread. There wasn’t a big selection, and some fresh fruit might be nice, but for the price and the quality of the local products, it was more than enough. We slept well on comfortable bedding, though it felt a little firm to me. Our connecting family room was basic and practical, but very clean, which mattered most. There was some dampness in the bathroom and a slightly unpleasant smell from the air conditioning or heating when we first entered. That’s the one thing that needs attention. The new decor is lovely, and the young couple who own the hotel were incredibly kind. We were welcomed perfectly even though we arrived late. It’s in the countryside, not too far from Dijon. A few small room improvements may still be needed, but Yann and Charlene, you’re on the right track. Keep it up, and go support these young entrepreneurs!

We had a lovely short stay, and I’d happily come back to see how the place has changed. The staff were all friendly and keen to help, and the hotel itself is beautifully decorated with real taste. We ate at the restaurant, where everything is homemade with local produce. There were so many flavors and lovely surprises. It was perfect. Congratulations on reopening, and all the best for what comes next. I highly recommend it!

The atmosphere was especially nice thanks to the smiling, attentive team, and you can feel the energy and passion of the young couple who recently took over the place. It comes through in both the food and the setting. The cooking was the standout for me: refined, full of flavor, and beautifully presented, like something from a gourmet restaurant. Such a great find. Definitely a place to support and recommend!

A short menu can still deliver, and this one focuses on homemade dishes with subtle flavors and real quality. The chef has a lot of talent, bringing a personal, flavorful twist to classic Burgundian food with combinations that are surprising and unexpected. Excellent, refined cooking. A wonderful discovery.
