After exploring the Champagne region, we were always glad to come back and unwind in the peaceful backyard at the foot of the vineyards. The owners were so friendly and went out of their way to answer questions and make recommendations. A fabulous B&B out in the countryside.

A lovely breakfast, with things like fresh-squeezed juice, and if you’re lucky, you might get to try Fred’s delicious cooking too. The hosts are super friendly, and the rooms are spacious and cosy, looking out either over the vineyards or over Vertus. A perfect base for a stay in the Champagne area. 👍👍👍👍👍

A wonderful welcome in a great place, right in the heart of Côte des blancs Champagne!

The people here are super friendly, and the B&B is beautifully decorated, sometimes in a daring way. We had dinner in their lovely kitchen, and the €28 p.p. price was excellent for what we got, including a champagne aperitif. There’s also a lovely view over the champagne fields.

Vertus is a peaceful spot right beside the vineyards, and just a short distance from Epernay. Anne-Sophie and Fred were wonderful hosts and speak good English. A great place to stay while visiting Champagne.
