We stopped here on the way back from the mountains, and from the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The champagne tasting was really enjoyable and informative, and the champagne was very good. We ended up buying a couple of boxes. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and breakfast was very good too. You can feel how much the owners care about their products and hotel in every detail. It was a delight to stay here, and it’ll definitely be our stop if we go to the Champagne region again.

The location in Vertus was a birthday weekend gift from my wife. Madame Alexis and her family welcomed us. There are only two rooms, and ours was very spacious. We loved how the old oak beams were worked into the newer spaces. The area was lovely and quiet, less busy than somewhere like Epernay. We could also taste and buy the family champagne, which has been made by the family for generations. They presented the different champagnes with real, and well-deserved, pride in their work.

Set in the Michel Maillard champagne house, this is an incredibly charming B&B. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and spacious, and Jacqueline Maillard gave us a warm welcome. She speaks fabulous English, knows a great deal about the champagne, and has wonderful stories that made our stay fantastic. The champagne range is superb, and we bought quite a bit. Breakfast was sumptuous. I can’t fault the place and will return as soon as possible. First class!

There are just two rooms at this stunning, peaceful champagne house in Vertus. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back. The hosts were wonderful, the welcome was very warm, and our room was huge and beautiful. Can’t recommend it enough.

The village is lovely, and the price was great. Inside, the rooms are really spacious and spotless, with historic character alongside all the modern comforts. We got a warm welcome from hosts who were charming and knew their stuff. And the champagne was excellent, among plenty of other good things.
