We wanted a local-feeling stay, something that didn’t feel generic, and this was exactly right. The room was spacious, check-in was easy, and parking was secure just outside the room. Breakfast was lovely; we were the only guests there, and the lady running it was very accommodating with fresh produce.

Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of high-quality local products. Our room was well equipped, and there was a plug right outside to charge our EV. The hotel is in a lovely little village close to Épernay.

The breakfast was very poor, with no eggs and only basic coffee. There was no one around over the weekend, and we had to get in using a code. The welcome glass of champaign this place used to offer is gone too. What made the stay worst was the tenants renting a space there, smoking and drinking outside our room until 4 am in my case. I emailed the owner about the sleepless night. He offered a 10 % discount, then said I should have taken it up with his drunken tenant and his friends.
