The little playhouse and slide were a huge success with my grandchildren, and one of my granddaughters, just 4, even said, “I’m happy here!” She didn’t want to leave. I brought my children and grandchildren together for the week, and with the lovely weather we could easily have stayed at the gîte the whole time. Its pool, spa, and big garden gave our seven grandchildren plenty of room to enjoy themselves safely outside. The owners are wonderful, the house feels welcoming, and the décor is tasteful. The kitchen worked perfectly for our big family, and the spacious bedrooms had comfortable beds. Everyone was delighted with the stay. For me, it’s a 10/10.

We’re from Normandy and had a wonderful weekend reunion with the family. The cottage was clean, pleasant, and equipped with everything we needed, and the enclosed courtyard felt secure. It’s peaceful around there. All the best to our hosts...

We had a good family reunion in this peaceful place, though the problems made the high weekend price hard to justify. The spa area smelled of sewage, and at times we noticed it outside too. One bathroom was outdated, while another couldn’t really be used: the shower drained so poorly that about 1 cm of water spread across the floor and into the entrance. They know about the sanitation issue. There were 16 of us, so it was a shame when the old dishwasher broke down. The pots and pans also need replacing, their bottoms looked unappealing. Still, there were plenty of good points: spacious bedrooms and living space, excellent bedding with the beds made up for us, and a very cute children’s room with games and costumes. The garden has trees and sun loungers, there’s a heated pool and BBQ, and the kitchen has a large, practical worktop.

The owners made us feel very welcome. They were friendly, helpful, and easy to reach whenever we needed them. The cottage itself was superb, with everything we needed and a quiet neighborhood location. We had a really pleasant stay and would definitely come back. Thanks again, and best wishes.
