We celebrated our 25th anniversary here after plenty of stays in French B&Bs, including some very good ones. We approached the gates a little nervously, but the hosts soon made us feel at home. We spent two nights here in 2015 and will definitely return. Blois has a special charm, too. The photos and website don't really show what the place is like. We stayed in the Four à Pain suite. It's part of the house, on the ground floor, but feels separate: you enter through a private door into a reception area, then pass a short corridor with a bathroom on one side and a spacious cloakroom on the other before reaching the bedroom. Breakfast was lovely each morning. Along with the usual things, all done well, there were special touches like baked apple. The hosts are warm and helpful, know plenty about the area, and are happy to book a restaurant for you. They speak English well, though I enjoyed using my French. They also have lots of special offer tickets, so tell them what you're thinking of booking. There can be significant savings. Parking is private, behind a locked gate. Blois is a bit of a walk unless you're keen on walking, but we liked the peace of staying outside town. It's close enough to be a five-minute drive from where we parked, right beside the Loire river. Highly recommended.

I stayed one night here last week with my girlfriend. The owners are lovely, and they made us a beautiful breakfast the next morning. It's a wonderful place, close to the centre of Blois.

INCREDIBLE is the word for this bed and breakfast 🤩 The room was spacious, comfortable, and furnished and decorated with real taste. It's in a quiet area and there's parking. The homemade breakfast our hosts prepared was fantastic, an absolute must. We took in all their suggestions for places to visit and appreciated their knowledge. Thanks for the kind moments, good conversation, and conviviality 😁

Claire's breakfast was delicious, and Laurent's suggestions for exploring the region were spot on. We loved staying at Claire and Laurent's lovely house, which is spacious, peaceful, and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfortable, everything was spotless, and there's a lovely garden and parking on the property. I highly recommend it as a base for visiting the Loire Valley châteaux region.

We had a wonderful time at Claire and Laurent's and exploring the Loire Valley châteaux region. Their lovely house faces the Blois state forest. Our room was quiet and very well maintained, and the incredible breakfast was included in the room rate.
