Le Relais Du Petit Lion

We stayed as a family in this pleasant apartment, just 400 m from the castle. It has a large kitchen and bathroom, plus a strong fan in the upstairs bedroom. The top-floor apartment is under the eaves, on the third floor with no elevator, and overlooks very quiet lanes. We arrived during a heatwave, so it was very hot, though that's hardly the owner's fault. Families with children should know there's no gate at the top of the stairs to the upstairs bedroom.

The apartment is well equipped, with good-quality bedding, and comfortable for up to four people. It sits right in the old town, where nearly all the streets are pedestrianized, and Blois Castle is just a five-minute walk away.

Everything we needed for a few days was there, and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. It's right in central Blois, on the first floor, which is the second floor in US/UK terms. The building has no elevator, and parking is around 300 m away.

Absolutely filthy. There's no bottom sheet, dirty laundry is left in a pile in the corner, and the toilet is disgusting. There are even weights in the shower. I've included photos. It's disgraceful, and the owner is indifferent and doesn't even bother replying.
