Fonclaire Holidays Glamping 'Luxury Camping'

The showers had plenty of hot water, which is always a plus. We stayed for two nights on our way south, and Jen and Chris were lovely, welcoming hosts. The site was clean, with spacious pitches. We could buy frozen pizzas on our first night and use an oven. For breakfast we ordered pain au chocolat and orange juice, expecting a paper bag, but it arrived on a beautifully presented tray with plates and juice in glass jars. Such a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend. Thank you 🙏🏻

The Gite was basic and spacious, with everything we needed, and the shower was excellent, hot and powerful. Chris was always around, very friendly, and sorted out any issues. They also had frozen pizzas, drinks, and other things to buy if we arrived too late for a shop. We ate out in the picturesque villages of Mortemart and Montrol Senard, both with great food. Bellac is 10 minutes away, with supermarkets, restaurants, and a nice river. We also visited Oradour and Limoges, though we never made it to Lake Saint-Pardoux because we didn't feel we needed to leave the site much. We spent a week in a Gite with our two young girls, and it was such a good place for kids. Between the pool, park, games, woods, and fishing lake, they were happy outside all day. We wish we'd stayed for two weeks. We'll keep it in mind for next year. Thanks, guys.

The owners were really friendly and helpful, and the campers' kitchen was a lovely bonus. It's a lovely rural spot with woodland walks, fishing lakes, and a swimming pool. The toilets and shower block were always clean. We're definitely planning to come back next year.

The facilities were spotless, and there are fridges to use plus a washing machine for a small cost. I had a great time holidaying here, and the fishing was great too. I caught this 30 lb on the second day. See you next year 👍👍
