The pool was nice for a morning swim, and I had it all to myself. On a busier day, though, I imagine it’s used more for relaxing alongside the spa than for swimming. The hotel was comfortable enough for a stopover. Pillows could have been better, while the bathroom and shower were modern and decent. Breakfast had lots to choose from, though some items tasted a little dried out. The slow-roasted tomatoes were delicious.

The hotel itself was okay during our stay from the 10-12 June, but the way the staff handled the trousers I left behind was a real letdown. I realized the day after checkout that I’d forgotten my pants there, which was my mistake. I called, and the woman said she’d ask the cleaning staff, then put me on hold. I offered to call back in ten minutes to give her time. When I called again twenty minutes later and reminded her who I was, she put me straight on hold without saying anything. After nearly a minute I hung up, then tried again five minutes later. I introduced myself once more, and she said, “no they didn't find” before hanging up. I emailed and got this reply: “Good afternoon, We did ask a cleaning woman, and nothing has been found actually in the room. Best regards.” I did leave my pants there, but the response felt dishonest and uncaring. I wouldn’t stay again. The customer service was a complete disappointment.

We waited more than 30 minutes for the airport pickup. The service was just poor and disappointing. Never again!

The service was really good, and the breakfast and room were very good too.
