That little lake was the highlight of our holiday. The campsite itself has a lovely one, but there wasn't much else for the kids: the pool is small and not very appealing to them. The playground's trampoline with the big balls and climbing frame was great, though the rest had little to offer. One toilet block smelled bad, so we used the other one, which was better. The baby bath had no water, and neither block supplied toilet paper. We took dinner back to our camper one evening; it came on proper plates, which was nice to eat from but awkward to carry.

The staff were great, and the facilities were in very good shape. We spent a week at this lovely site, with well-kept pools, and found it a short drive from lots of lovely beaches and small towns. We'd happily recommend it.

We were all able to camp together as requested, and had a great time. This was our second year at Le Bois Joli with friends, and this time my mother, brother, niece and nephew came too. It's a spacious, clean, welcoming site, and the staff were helpful. The showers were the one letdown: there were only brief spells of hot water before they went cold again, which was difficult with the young children. There are lots of activities and day trips nearby, and we'd recommend both the area and the site to friends and family. Thank you, Martine and family.

The pools and lagoon gave us a great choice, and the facilities were clean and tidy. The family who run the site were very welcoming, and spoke good English, which helped us. It's easy to reach in a nice part of the Vendee. We drove down from Caen in about four hours, all on good roads. We'd highly recommend it.
