We loved how delicious the hotel's dishes were, and the little bungalows made it feel like we were right inside the peaceful natural surroundings. Hôtel du Claux is wonderfully quiet and secluded, just the sort of place for anyone looking to unwind. The owners are kind and helpful, with a warm manner that still gives you space. Highly recommend it.

Breakfast was superb, and the inn's green surroundings and outdoor pool make it an easy place to relax. The rooms are unusual, each in its own loft-style unit, and the location is excellent. The owners were professional, welcoming, and available throughout the day. A place I'd happily recommend.

The stay was really pleasant, and I don't hold the breakfast charges against the hosts, but it caught me off guard to pay extra for two slices of ham and for a small breakfast I hadn't eaten. Charging for one of the two might have made sense, but both felt surprising. I was there with a friend for a wedding at L'Auberge Le Claux, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Best to tell the hosts your plans and choices ahead of time.

Carole and Christian looked after us so well, and we had comfortable accommodations, tasty meals, a warm welcome, and breakfast. If you enjoy nature and smaller, intimate places, this is a lovely little paradise, especially if you don't know the area. I'd even make a detour to find it.

We haven't been this happy with a place in a long time 😄. The hosts were kind and always available, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, and we enjoyed the setting and the swimming pool. We'll remember this address and share it.
