I wanted a quiet room and really appreciated being placed at the end of the corridor, well away from the stairs. After driving up from Spain, I got the good night's sleep I needed. The room and bathroom were just what I expected from previous B&B hotel stays, and spotlessly clean. I felt very safe, and tested negative when I got back to the UK, so I had nothing to worry about. The hotel is super easy to find, and the receptionist was welcoming and suggested places to eat that evening. Breakfast was basic but thoughtfully put together, and felt safe too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We found a few places to eat nearby, and the location was perfect. The staff were super friendly and nice both in the evening and in the morning. A good place to stay for the night, and breakfast was good too.

The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we got a warm welcome. Breakfast was good quality, with tasty bacon and eggs. I'd recommend it and stay again when I'm in the area.

Plenty of parking, restaurants close by, and the motorway nearby too. A nice hotel, and a win-win for my family!

Our check-out was at 12, but at 9 in the morning, while my wife and I were asleep after a friend's wedding the night before, the cleaning woman came into our room without warning and woke us up. When we said it was strange for someone to walk into an occupied room while we still had hours before check-out, she argued and kept saying it was our fault for not telling reception the night before. Why should I have to tell reception that we don't want to be woken at 9? We were told their policy is to clean every room from 8am, even when guests are still in it and checking out that day. She also said she didn't care what we were saying, that she just wanted to go home early and was in a rush.
