The kind, accommodating staff were the best part of an okay stay. It's very quiet, with a pretty green setting, plenty of parking, a private balcony or terrace, and easy access to the hiking trail into Bonifacio. Breakfast portions are generous. In our room, at least, the air conditioning wasn't very strong, and there was a sewage smell that you eventually get used to. Opening the door to air it out brings in about 15 mosquitoes a minute. The beds were so firm they were uncomfortable. My partner can sleep standing up in a dumpster and even he thought the bed was too hard. All the bedding had stains, though it seemed clean, which was still kind of weird. We weren't shown where the pool was, so I don't know if everyone can use it. At checkout you have to clean your own room or pay them 40-50 euro to do it.

The room was clean, and the staff were very kind. Fanny in particular gave us good advice. The hotel looks nice, but the Standard bedroom wasn't a good fit: we stayed two nights and had no privacy because it was near the client reception, and the soundproofing was poor.

Breakfast was excellent, with homemade marmalade and fresh coffee, and the mattress was good. The bedroom was modern, well maintained, and had air conditioning. The location is beautiful and close to Bonifacio, and it felt like a perfect spot for a fair price given how expensive Bonifacio is on average. Our one downside was that the air conditioning didn't cool very much, and probably needs a checkup.
