Residence Sapa Di Cala

The pool and peaceful setting were lovely, and the staff were friendly. The grounds sit among the scrubland and have donkeys, wild boars, and little cats. But the accommodation needs a proper refresh: there was no basic kit with things like a sponge, bin bag, or washing-up liquid, and even the shower towels cost extra and smelled really bad. We also had only three glasses for four people when we arrived. Better-equipped accommodation would change my whole impression.

The pool has a superb view over Bonifacio and the granite formations, and there are a few short walks you can reach on foot, especially around the Trinity Hermitage. The residence itself is quiet and relaxing, tucked away from Bonifacio's bustle, with well-kept green spaces. Our spacious accommodation matched the website description, had no overlooking neighbors, and was well equipped. It's also ideally placed for exploring the area. Five stars for the friendly, attentive staff.

You can be on the hiking trails nearby, and Bonifacio is only a five-minute drive away with a lovely view from the residence. The apartments are fully equipped and it's a family-friendly place. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and were so kind, and the staff were just as welcoming.

We really enjoyed how quiet the residence was, and the panorama from the pool is incredible. The photos and description on the website were accurate. Bonifacio is a five-minute drive away. Thanks again to Eric and Valérie for their warm welcome and kindness. We'd be happy to come back.
