When we arrived, they gave us a room where our son could nap, then let us into the villa at the scheduled time. Whenever we had a question or needed something, the staff were quick to respond. The roads are great, the staff are amazing, and I’d recommend the hotel and villas to my friends. I’ve seen a recent review with some negative feedback about the Villas, but it’s important to ignore it. The Villas are amazing, and staying there was a great experience.

We loved the beach bar, where the food was delicious and the service attentive. The hotel itself has a great shop with lovely resort clothes, and the grounds, beaches and location were all fantastic. Service before and after arrival was excellent too. Breakfast could have offered more fruit and fresh tomatoes, and the Panoramic Restaurant menu felt limited. A few simple pasta dishes would be welcome, especially since the food there wasn't as good as at the beach bar, as other reviews have mentioned. You'll need a car, since taxis are scarce and expensive. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

They even had a dog bed ready for my little Pom, which was a lovely touch. There are so many interesting corners to discover around the hotel, and the restaurants and breakfast were both fantastic. The pool and beach are beautiful too. The wine tasting and dinner in the cellar beneath the restaurant were a real experience. Staff were so friendly and made everything easy. It's one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in, and I'd happily come back again and again. I can't recommend it enough.

The setting, food and wine were all wonderful, and we had some really good service. They brought out a birthday cake or dessert and sang happy birthday to my wife, which was lovely. There were a few bumps too. Our first room had no sea view, though they eventually moved us to one that better matched the description. We were also asked to pay a penalty for not going to dinner, but that was sorted out later. Kids jumping and splashing in the pool made it noisy.

The peaceful private beach and surrounding landscape made it easy to unwind. Our rooms were beyond five-star, the meals were spectacular, and the staff made us feel right at home. I'd highly recommend staying at U Capu Biancu when visiting Bonifacio.
