The team made us and our dog feel so welcome, and the service was warm and genuinely attentive. We found a beautiful suite with stunning decor, tucked into nature near Geneva, with a lovely garden and a stream. A perfect spot to recharge.

At Hôtel Restaurant Baud, the tasting menu paired generous portions with beautifully balanced dishes. It really brought out the local French and Alpine produce.

The room was such a pleasant surprise that we added a second night after originally booking just one. The family room had loads of space, and the bed and towels were top quality. Staff went above and beyond. I did have to deal with a couple of spiders before bed because my daughter has severe allergies, though that felt normal for a place surrounded by nature above a river. We’d hoped to try the restaurant on Sunday evening, but it’s closed that day. After cancelling our two previous hotels over hygiene problems, this was a welcome surprise. Those issues seem common in Europe, where many places charge a fortune and show little respect for their customers. I’d recommend staying here if you want to get away from the chaos of Geneva and the surrounding area after a day of sightseeing.

A real treat for both food and hospitality. All the waiters and the manager were lovely, and they explained the set menu really well in English.

The food was delicious, and the service was high end without losing its charm. Our sommelier was especially kind, and we really enjoyed how much the wine pairing added to dinner. The chef even came out to serve dessert to our table and others, which was a lovely, rare touch. We had a wonderful dinner and weren’t disappointed. Thank you.
