Breakfast was good, but the studio was so small there was barely room for our bags. I paid 158€ total for the room, parking, and breakfast. The bathroom was tiny, with an oddly deep mini-bath instead of a shower tray. Showering without hitting the tap and changing the water temperature was difficult. At the end, we also had to empty the bin and clean the little kitchen unit.

A good stay, and check-in was easy. The bus and tram stops are nearby, as is the city centre.

The shower was the one awkward part: it’s small, and its holder was broken, so we had to keep the shower head in our hands. The bathroom itself had decent space. We had no trouble fitting our two weekend duffel bags, with room to use the wardrobe and table, and the bed was really comfortable. The room felt cosy and simple. There’s no air conditioning, but the fan was enough for us in autumn. We were pleasantly surprised after reading the hotel reviews, and found good restaurants nearby. We also walked into town.

The location worked well for getting around. It’s a five-minute walk to a supermarket, about 20 minutes on foot to the city centre, or roughly 15 minutes by tram including the walk to the stop. From the airport, it took us 30 minutes on the tram and another five-minute walk. The side street was fairly quiet, though the bins being collected made some early-morning noise. Staff were always pleasant and helpful when they were on duty, and greeted us as we passed. After-hours entry was easy with the instructions provided. The reception did smell of weed when we arrived. Our bed was comfortable. The room had a fan and a wall heater with a thermostat I wasn’t sure about, but no air conditioning. There wasn’t a bedside table on one side; we could have moved the phone table there if needed. The bathroom felt a bit shabby, and the shower over the half-size bath was awkward. We did have a hairdryer, despite reading reviews that said there wasn’t one. The kitchen had a fridge, microwave, sink, glasses, cutlery and dishes, but no kettle. We knew about that beforehand, though it was still a big miss for us. We used the coffee machine to heat water, which took around 20 minutes to make enough for two cups. WiFi was free and worked fine. I’d still use the usual precautions and a VPN.
