Parking outside the ZFE (Zeitungsführung) makes it easy to reach the city center by public transport. Bordeaux was a wonderful discovery, with a captivating cathedral and churches, historic buildings and lovely squares.

One of France's most beautiful cities, without a doubt. Its distinctive style, architecture, food, fine wine and lively nightlife give it a magical feel. There are plenty of sights, from the reflecting pool and Parliament building to the Grand Clock and many more. The locals add to the experience with their welcoming, friendly vibe. If you're planning a Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, the city is right on the route and the path is well defined. I'll definitely be back! 🍷😍
As a Bordeaux native, I might not be objective, but the city has become a real tourist destination in recent years. It's beautiful, vibrant and renovated. Be sure to see the quays with the quincunxes, Place de la Bourse and the Water Mirror, then explore the city center, including Saint-Pierre and Saint-Michel, Place Pey Berlan with the cathedral, and City Hall. Leave time to visit the vineyards and explore Entre-Deux-Mers, and don't forget the Arcachon Basin.
The historic heart of Bordeaux is especially beautiful, and the city overall is lovely. I was a little surprised by a few neglected neighborhoods...
