Casa Blanca B&B

The greenhouse room was such a relaxing place to read or have a quiet chat, with all its plants and warm atmosphere. Casa Blanca is a lovely bed and breakfast in a peaceful, handy spot, just two blocks from Jardin Public and surrounded by restaurants. We found the whole city walkable from there. The building has plenty of character, while the large, bright rooms feel stylish and comfortable. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, the sheets crisp, and the shower products were nice. Breakfast was delicious, with carefully chosen ingredients: wonderful bread, croissants, butter, fruit, and coffee. I usually asked to have it brought to my room, though the shared breakfast area was lovely too. Gildas went out of his way for us, and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Jardin Public was so lovely that we made a point of visiting every day, and it’s very close to Casa Blanca. The tram is nearby as well, so the location worked really well. Breakfast was nice, with pastries, tea, coffee, juice, cheese, fruit, and eggs. The staff were great and shared useful tips for Bordeaux. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

This B&B has a quirky feel. We had a large room by European standards, with comfortable furniture and a rather unusual bathroom setup. It’s close to the tram and easy to reach many good restaurants and a beautiful park on foot. One thing to keep in mind: the car service the host recommended for our trip to the hotel and later to the train station cost quite a bit more than the website had indicated.

The design is beautiful, the room was large, and breakfast was great. I loved the neighbourhood and how close everything was, especially being right above the park. The staff were so friendly, and a special shout-out to Basma. I’d stayed at the Mondrian before, but would much rather spend my time here. I’ll definitely come back to Bordeaux.
