The rooms aren’t large, but they’re adequate and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was exquisite, with a generous variety of food and good coffee. The location is superb, near the opera house in the centre. Stephan and Stephanie are very pleasant and helpful, and will point you toward places to see and eat. The real gem here is the owner and his wife, who pay close attention to the details. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it if location, service, and cleanliness are high on your list.

The position, room, breakfast, and boss were all excellent. The kindness we received at every step of our Bordeaux holiday made this one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in during my entire life. If I come back in the next few years, I’ll definitely return to this hotel.

Parking is handy, with a garage and free on-street spaces nearby in the evenings. The staff are super helpful, and both the location in the heart of Bordeaux’s golden triangle and the breakfast are great. Rooms are small and basic, with no elevator or air conditioning, but the price is fair for what you get.

This is a budget hotel in an old building, very French in character, with beautiful French-style windows facing a lovely street. It’s a charming place, and very good value given how high we found prices around town. Everything is nearby, so the location is the best in town. The room was small and there’s no AC, though we didn’t actually need it at the end of August. The receptionist, who seemed to be the owner, was extremely kind. He offered to keep our baby stroller in his own flat next door because carrying it up the stairs would have been difficult. There’s no elevator, and he also offered to help with our bags, though we didn’t need that. Great stay, thank you!
