The garden breakfasts were fabulous, and Sylvie and Sebastian were wonderful hosts. Getting into the city was easy by tram, with the stop just a five-minute walk away. We had a simply amazing stay.

The garden was beautifully kept, and the rooms were spacious, spotless, and nicely furnished. We loved our stay here. Breakfast was fresh and amazing, with homemade yogurt, jams, juice, and a delicious croissant. The hosts were so friendly, and Sylvie arranged fantastic massages for us. Tram A goes straight downtown, so the location worked well. We hope to return and will recommend Le Clos des Queyries to our friends and family. Merci beaucoup Sylvie et Sébastien!!

The room was pristine, with a comfortable bed and high-quality bedding. We loved our stay and would happily return. Sylvie and Sebastian are warm, kind, interesting, and entertaining hosts, and the student from Portugal who works at the cafe was charming and very helpful. The property is tucked behind a gate in an ordinary neighborhood, with lovely landscaping that makes it feel like an oasis. Tram access around the corner takes you into downtown Bordeaux, and driving into town and looking for parking wouldn't be appealing anyway. This setup makes sense. Breakfast is delicious, and if other guests are around, it's nice to chat with them. We enjoyed this much more than a hotel.

The best part of our mornings was the fresh breakfast Sylvie and Sébastien made at this lovely place we chose as our base for exploring Bordeaux. They were also warm and helpful, always ready with local tips on places to see, eat, and more. The house is a former château dating to 1780, lovingly converted by the hosts. It's a peaceful break from the busy center, with five rooms, each decorated in its own style. Out front there's a small seating area where you can unwind with a cold drink in summer. Both tram and train stations are a five to ten minute walk away. From Jean Jaurès, Tram A makes it easy to reach the airport and city center. Cenon Gare is handy for Saint-Émilion and Bergerac. Our room was clean, attractive, and comfortable. It was serviced daily, with fresh linens and the bed made, much like a hotel. We'd gladly recommend staying here in Bordeaux.

We came for two nights and ended up staying six because we loved it so much and couldn't bear to leave. The garden, room, and whole place are set up to help you feel relaxed and at home. Sylvie and Sébastien are among the warmest, most welcoming people I've met in all my travels. After a day of sightseeing, coming back for evening drinks was such a treat. The homemade breakfast in the garden was lovely too. I'll remember this vacation as one of my best. Many thanks to Sylvie and Sébastien, we'll see you again.
