Heym

Everyone on the team was incredibly kind, attentive, and responsive. They made us feel at home from the minute we arrived, and I’d happily recommend Heym and stay there again. My family and I spent more than a week there, and it was one of our most comfortable stays. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. There’s an indoor pool, and they serve a lovely breakfast each morning. A real gem in Bordeaux.

Antoine was always available and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He was congenial and supportive, including arranging an early breakfast when we had to leave before the usual serving time. Each morning there were croissants, breads, granola or muesli, jams, coffee, and tea, with attentive staff. The Heym is a beautifully refurbished five-room boutique hotel next to Jardin Public. It’s quiet but right in central Bordeaux, within an easy walk of several restaurants and the river. The building and spotless room were lovely, with simple, elegant decor. There’s a small elevator and a nice indoor pool. Thanks for the hospitality and the experience.

The hosts paid attention to every detail and were so attentive, which made our stay wonderful. I slept incredibly well on the very comfortable bed, and even wanted to find out the pillow brand. The AC was refreshingly cool, especially after staying in places that claimed to have AC but didn’t feel like it. Fresh robes and slippers were provided, and the hair dryer even had a diffuser attachment. The hosts were gracious throughout. We’d recommend staying here and will come back next time we’re in town.

Antoine, Dan, and Florian were exceptional hosts. They went above and beyond and took care of all our needs. The spacious, elegant room was very comfortable for our five-night stay, and we loved the fresh pastries and orange juice at breakfast. The guesthouse is ideally placed close to Jardín Public and about a ten-minute walk from the old town. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommend.
