La Chartreuse was a peaceful haven in the city for our three-night visit. We stayed in Marie Brizard, a room that made the perfect place to come back to after exploring. Pierre was friendly and a great host. We'd happily recommend it and hope to return soon.

The plants and flowers made La Chartreuse-Bordeaux feel like a little green retreat, and the calm atmosphere was a joy. Our room was spotless, with a peaceful, tasteful design. Pierre, the owner, was discreet, welcoming and knowledgeable, a true gentleman. Breakfast came with freshly baked croissants and artisan bread rolls. My girlfriend and I were amazed by this beautiful place during our Bordeaux visit, and we'll certainly come back to experience it again. Thank you, Pierre! Hasta la vista 😀

Pierre was a lovely host, and we enjoyed the good breakfast, quiet setting and decor during our three days at La Chartreuse. Everything was spotlessly clean. My only small thought is that a double room would be nicer with two chairs, though plenty of hotels are like that. If we're in Bordeaux again, this is where we'll stay. Gill & Ron.

The quiet private garden and wonderfully calm atmosphere were the highlights for us. We only stayed three nights last week and wished we had longer. Pierre was helpful and well organized, and our modern, comfortable room had lots of thoughtful touches. Breakfast was delightful too.

We had a really good time in this stylish, cosy place in Bordeaux. The tram stop is only a few minutes away. On checkout day, they let us leave our bags there all day, and we had a tasty tea before heading off. Thanks so much, Pierre. Highly recommended 👍🏼
