Maison Fernand

Kinga was a great help arranging a wine tasting and transportation. The staff were exceptional, and breakfast was adorable, with the option of taking it up to the rooftop terrace. This boutique hotel and B&B is so good, with cute rooms, upgraded bathrooms, and thoughtful personal touches. It’s near a charming square and easy to walk to shops and restaurants, while still being on a quiet street. We’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

One detail we really liked was the postcard setup: write to anyone, leave the cards in the stairwell mailbox, and the hotel takes care of mailing them. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay good. Breakfast was delicious, and our second-floor room had a spacious bathroom and a private terrace that was perfect for eating outside. It faced the street but stayed quiet. They’d thought of lots of useful extras too, including charging cables, speakers, magazines, and games. La Maison Fernand is a fantastic B&B in a great Bordeaux location, and we highly recommend it.

Kinga made me feel at home from the moment I walked in, and the team shared plenty of personal recommendations. The location is perfect and breakfast was amazing. The included breakfast was amazing, and the staff, especially Kinga, deserve thanks for making the place so appealing. Rosa Bonheur room is spotless, spacious, and very well designed, with a balcony and a high-tech espresso machine. The bathroom is huge, with two sinks and a rain shower. You can walk everywhere, with great restaurants like Berthus, 230F, and Arcada, as well as bars and museums, just steps away.
