Marty Hotel Bordeaux, Tapestry Collectn by Hilton

We spent four nights at the Marty over Christmas and will definitely return. The hotel is bright and stylish, and the contemporary works by local artists make it feel like an art gallery. You can buy the artwork. Our room was spotless and quiet, with an extremely comfortable bed. The only small inconvenience was the bedside tables, which were short on shelf space and less functional than usual. The breakfast bar was great, and the reception and breakfast staff were friendly and efficient. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for them. The place lifted our spirits as soon as we arrived.

Celine at the front desk was a huge help, 10 stars for her customer service. The hotel is tucked into a quiet area, but the old town and historic district are an easy walk away. I stayed for three nights in November and found everything exceptionally clean, with impeccable service. I hope to be back in 2026!

The room was a little cramped, as you'd expect from a typical European-sized room, but there isn't much to adjust about that. The artwork was beautiful, the bathroom was great, and that rainfall showerhead was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and very helpful, rooms were cleaned every day, and the breakfast buffet was great. A wonderful stay. I'll book here again as long as the rates stay close to my corporate rate at nearby hotels. Thanks, MARTY!

The breakfast was on the lighter side, with a mix of European and western options, and the automated specialty coffee machine kept the lattes coming. We enjoyed staying at the Marty. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and it was close to the cathedral and other sights. Thanks again to the team for being so willing to help, and for speaking such great English while our French was pretty broken.
