I couldn't sleep because the room was so hot. Since the hotel had switched to heat for that time of year, there was no AC, even though it was warm outside. Opening the window meant bugs around my head all night and bright light shining in. I was in Bordeaux for work, and the company had booked the whole group here, so I couldn't move elsewhere. Several colleagues also complained about hot rooms. There were no washcloths, just liquid soap in the shower, which was a first for me. The room also had no phone, so at 11:30pm on my first night I had to go down to reception to ask about climate control. That's when I was told to turn the system off because it only provided heat at that time of year. On my last night, kids ran up and down the hallway around midnight for about 20 minutes.

A good place to stop while travelling south through France. It's well located, welcomes pets, and has secure gated parking.

The hotel hasn't been renovated, and the food was really underwhelming. There was no fridge in the room, and during a heatwave the AC barely worked, so I had to switch rooms. The new room had a tiny bar fridge, but the AC was almost nonexistent there too. How is this a four-star hotel?

The room was clean and the staff were kind and spoke English. Breakfast was great. The kids had pétanque, baby-foot, and video games to play, and also played with their parents, of course. There was even a sparkling water dispenser.
