Le Mirage

We came back for our second year at Le Mirage and still have nothing to fault. The pool area is so relaxing, and the surroundings are beautiful with panoramic views. Every staff member was kind and courteous. Our room's air-con had a minor issue, but the staff were very helpful in finding a fix. We'd highly recommend it.

The pool was lovely, and the food was good. We also really enjoyed the terrace, whether for lunch, dinner, or just spending time there. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the buffet breakfast had anything you could want. The spot has wide views down to the Mediterranean. A great experience for our family.

The restaurant is well worth trying. The chef made creative, wonderful dishes from Provence produce, and there’s an attractive wine list too. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a stunning view in Bormes Les Mimosas.

The food and cocktails used to be just okay, even though I’ve been coming here on and off for years and the location and service were always good. That changed this year with the new crew. Dinner was one of the best I’ve ever had, easily at one-star Michelin level. My gazpacho and polpo were followed by turbot and tiramisu, and every dish was spot on. I lingered at the bar afterwards with the excellent bartender, who’s a real mixologist. The signature cocktails, an espresso martini, a whiskey sour, and one with a great umami twist, were all balanced and memorable. Best cocktails I’ve had anywhere. I’ve never reviewed a place before, but this one deserves the attention. Highly recommend.
