The host was patient and attentive, offering useful advice for restaurants and things to do in Paris and Versailles. The house was spotless, and our room was very spacious, with thoughtful touches like water, tea, and small pastries. There’s no fridge in the room or kitchen access, though he did let us put a few things in his fridge, and we had to ask to get them back. Breakfast was served in the living room with silver cutlery. There was bread, buns, cheese, cold meats, Nutella, jams, honey, fruit, orange juice, coffee, tea, and chocolate milk. The house and peaceful garden were lovely, in a quiet little village near Versailles, about 15 minutes by car, and Paris, about 20 minutes by train.

The breakfasts were exceptional, and the guesthouse was wonderfully comfortable, with attentive service throughout. It’s in a lovely spot in this beautiful Paris suburb.
