The best part was the location. Cousteau Reserve is a five-minute walk away, so we could swim with turtles first thing in the morning, even before coffee. The Acomat waterfall, which Silas recommended, was magnificent and just 20 minutes away. The cocoa museum is two minutes away, and restaurants and little beach bars are all walkable. We didn’t need a car, which was a real luxury at this time of year when parking lots are full and expensive. We spent a fantastic week at Malendure Lodge, January 5th to 12th. Silas and his wife were wonderful hosts, with the relaxed atmosphere we like. The lodge was very comfortable, and the pool was a great way to cool off after a day at the beach. It’s a convenient, welcoming place where you feel good. I highly recommend it.

We had a great stay in these quality cottages, which were comfortable and complete, with a private pool. The owners were lovely and always available. The Heures Saines diving club is three minutes away, and Malendure beach is a five-minute walk. Come stay here, you won’t regret it.

The bungalows were clean and well equipped, and parking was super easy. We especially liked the garden-view one, where the kids could play safely. It’s only a five-minute walk to Malendure beach. Thanks so much for the warm welcome.

The pool was fantastic, and the welcome was excellent. It’s easy to walk to Malendure beach and nearby restaurants, and the location is a great base for exploring Basse-Terre. We had a magical stay.
