Appartements Paris Boulogne

The location was perfect for going to a concert at Hippodrome, and there are good restaurants nearby. For sightseeing, though, it’s away from the centre. We had two very different days, so the rating averages out. The first day was awful. Check-in was delayed until 3:40 p.m. despite our request for an early check-in. Our room had no ventilation, and the AC didn’t work while it was 36-38C outside. The fans they brought were extremely noisy and gave me a headache. The afternoon receptionist wouldn’t move us to another acceptable room. We complained again the next morning. The person on the morning shift, Valentin, was very nice and moved us to a bigger, nicer room, though not until late afternoon. The second day was good.

In February, we found several bed bugs in our bed. On the first night, my husband noticed a rash on his hand, but we thought it might be a mosquito bite. The next night he got a rash on his face, and that’s when we finally spotted the bugs. We left in the middle of the night. There was no staff on duty, so we left a written note and sent Booking a message saying we’d had to leave in a hurry and wanted a refund. As of May 12, I’ve sent dozens of emails to both the property and Booking and still haven’t received one. Absolutely terrible experience. Avoid this hotel.

A lovely little apartment in Boulogne, very cosy and comfortable, with modern amenities and a tiny kitchenette that was well stocked. It’s central, clean, and would work for either a short or longer stay. Breakfast was included in our fee, and the staff were very helpful. What a nice surprise. I’d definitely return and recommend it.

It’s a small, convenient apartment, and we had a wonderful stay with the kids. The person at reception was so friendly and kind. We liked it, and we’ll stay here again if we visit Paris.
