I booked at short notice through egencia because it was available, within budget, and 2 km from the office. At check-in, I was surprised by a cititax bill that hadn’t been included in the prepayment. Otherwise, the friendly, helpful concierge made things fine. The room was small but well laid out, clean, and had the essentials. The double glazing kept outside noise out, and the modern shower was clean, hot, and powerful. The single++ bed was very comfortable. In what seems like a refurbished older building, the steep stairs and floorboards in nearby bedrooms can be noisy, though it didn’t affect my sleep. It might bother some people. At first the hotel didn’t impress me, but it turned out comfortable enough. I’m not in a hurry to return, though I’d look it up again if I needed somewhere on short notice.

Dinar was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile throughout my stay. The hotel itself had a cozy, charming feel that made me feel at home. I had a wonderful visit and would definitely come back. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay with warm hospitality.

The staff were really friendly, and the service was excellent. But outside noise came through the poorly soundproofed windows, and the bathroom extractor fan seemed to run constantly with no way to switch it off. Both the noise and the fan affected my sleep a lot.

Such a lovely hotel, and the staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are a little small, as you’d expect in a city, but they were spotless. My only disappointment was the lack of English TV. With my conditions, I need plenty of rest as well as time for sightseeing.
