The apartment itself was cozy, comfortable, and very nice, but the breakfast situation was disappointing. We'd paid for breakfast for four people for five nights. What we found was 500ml of expired milk, 200ml of orange juice, three small jars of applesauce, a half-open pack of toast, and some pastries. That's nowhere near enough for four people over five days. The internet and TV also never worked.

The apartment seemed fine when we arrived, but we noticed a strange smell once we got into bed. In the morning, there was food stored under the mattress, and it smelled strongly. We reported it and were asked to send photos, which made no sense to us since a picture can't show a smell. After some delay, they said they'd send someone to check. Nobody came, and they blamed us for not leaving the keys in the safe, though they hadn't asked us to do that. When we got back that night, we checked again and found a bread box stuck underneath the mattress, along with other food. Once we pulled it off and removed the other items, we saw white liquid and worms from the decomposing food. We reported that too and sent photos of the worms. The only thing they could suggest was asking us to clean it. We had to, because we had nowhere else to stay in Paris.

The apartment was lovely, with everything well equipped and spotlessly clean. The tasteful little touches were nice too.
