Timhotel Boulogne Rives de Seine

Joseph and Hakim listened to my requests, which I really appreciated. I had one of the larger bedrooms, and the TV worked great. It was fun watching Marylin Monroe’s Some Like It Hot in French. The place was fairly quiet and good value, with friendly staff. It's near a business center in Boulogne. The style reminded me of a Motel 6 or Best Western, with a continental breakfast and basics like cups of hot water available at reception. Bus 123 gets you to the station quickly, and the nearest station is also an easy walk away.

The rooms are a little cramped, and it's a long way from the main attraction, but once you're in the room it feels like a relief. Carrefour and other convenience stores are nearby. The staff were amazing, really helpful, and clearly put customers first.

For the price, I thought this hotel was good value, and its location made it easy to get around the area. The property could use some updates and freshening up, but I still enjoyed the stay and would consider coming back. I think the low rating is a bit harsh.

The room was tiny for what they charge, and the place was very dirty with a strong bad smell. The bathroom was right beside the bed, which felt strange, and the whole stay was a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to tourists; it can spoil your mood and leave a bad impression. The night receptionist wasn't welcoming at all. In the morning, a different person was nice, which made for a weird experience.
