At least the hotel was clean, and there’s a secure car park 400m away that costs 3€ overnight. But the rooms are very small, the bathroom tiny, and it was very noisy, with street traffic and nightlife going on late. The strangest thing was the bathroom door. Its spring was so strong that it wanted to slam shut, and even holding it open was surprisingly difficult for me as a strong, fit 30yo man. If you’re just passing through, I’d keep driving along the coast. The lively, quaint coastal villages are much nicer to wake up in.

The room was an okay size and the hotel is in the city center. The first room they gave me smelled really bad. They seemed to know about it, since they didn’t look surprised when I asked to switch. The next room was old, and its coffee machine didn’t work and leaked water. The fire alarm went off twice in the morning, but it was a false alarm. Highly NOT recommended.

I needed a last-minute room for one night before heading back to the UK. The location is very central, on the main shopping street, which is partly pedestrianised. The bathroom was a good size, with a large double shower and separate wc. But the guest rooms aren’t sound insulated, so you can hear neighbours using the bathroom and other guests in the corridors. For the one-night last-minute booking, it cost 85 euros plus 15 euros extra for the dog. I wouldn’t recommend a longer stay.

The room was okay, breakfast was fine, and the staff were very friendly. But there’s no guest parking, and the tiny bathroom was smelly and not very clean. During my stay they didn’t clean the room or even make the bed.
