Studios étape du Lac

We drove over an hour to get there, and then the owner saw our dogs in the car and refused to give us a room, saying he’d changed his mind. We knew dogs weren’t allowed in the room, so we’d brought their kennel. He said they’d be in the room when he came back the next day, even though we had no intention of taking them in there. We’d found the property on booking.com and called because we needed a room for the following day. He told us not to book through the app and said we could pay directly at the property. The way he treated us was extremely unprofessional. Not liking dogs is understandable, but refusing guests over it felt like a whole other level of dog hatred. Terrible customer service, and with that attitude he’s not going to get many guests.

The studio was clean and had everything we needed for our one-night stay. It’s right by a lovely lake and very close to town. I hope we get to stay again.

Cesar, the owner, is very friendly. I stayed for three nights, and the room was clean, practical, and had a really comfortable bed. There’s a big park right across from the lovely location, great for a walk. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The studio is small but furnished and equipped well. It’s a peaceful spot right by Lake Bourbon-Lancy. The manager brings breakfast to the apartment’s little terrace at the time you ask for. I highly recommend it.
